Kawita Vatanajyankur was born in Bangkok, Thailand and graduated from RMIT University with distinction in 2011. Vatanajyankur produces striking performance-based video and photographic works. She has held solo exhibitions at spaces such as the Centre for Contemporary Photography (2013), Seventh (2012) and Trocadero Art Space (2012) and in 2013 exhibited Platform Contemporary Art Space, and as part of the Channels Video Festival, Ikono On Air Festival and was featured in Hua Krathi, a project across three Melbourne sites that showcased outstanding contemporary Thai artists.
